Intro to Birding Hike

Location: Platte Landing Park

Join MDC staff for a guided 2.5-mile birding hike to identify and document local bird species. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars (7-12x magnification recommended), spotting scopes, a paper checklist or the eBird app, and a field guide or Merlin Bird ID app. Dress for the weather, as the program takes place entirely outdoors. Participants should park near the dog park and look for the MDC truck.
