Parkville Symphonic Band Christmas Concert & Carol Sing-Along

Description

The Parkville Symphonic Band Christmas Concert will be presented on Tuesday evening, December 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Pine Ridge Presbyterian Church, 7600 Barry Road, Kansas City, Missouri, directly across from Park Hill High School.  The concert will feature music of the Christmas season, with medleys including both traditional Christmas carols and popular Christmas songs, ranging from Winter Wonderland and A Charlie Brown Christmas to Carol of the Bells and I’ll be Home for Christmas!   The concert will conclude with a sing-along as we invite audience members to join in singing as we play traditional Christmas carols.  If you yearn for the songs and carols we used to sing throughout the Christmas season, this is a program you will really enjoy! 

Admittance to the concert is free, with freewill donations accepted for the South Platte Emergency Assistance Center (SPEAC) Food Pantry.  We hope you will join us in supporting this fine local organization staffed entirely by volunteers as it works to ensure that no area resident needs to go hungry.  More information on the band and concert can be found on our Facebook page or call (816) 741-7388
